BRISTOL, R.I., – RWU’s Construction Management Professional Advisory Board (CMPAB) recently named North Attleborough’s Steve Eustis, senior vice president at Skanska USA, its 2013 “Distinguished Person of the Year.” RWU presents the award to veteran construction professionals who have helped strengthen RWU’s Construction Management (CM) program.
The award was presented to Eustis at the University’s 3rd Annual Construction Management Alumni and senior dinner, which gathers students, alumni, faculty, staff and industry leaders, to celebrate the success of the University’s renowned CM program as well as the bright future ahead for the program’s 26 graduates.
As a member of the CMPAB since it was created in 2001, Skanska’s Steve Eustis has played a key role in helping RWU develop its CM to the superior education program it is today. Steve has co-chaired the board’s Academic Committee since 2004 and was instrumental in creating the RWU Externship Program, which has become a model throughout the University. In addition, Steve has volunteered countless hours lecturing, guiding and advising CM students and has organized many site visits over the years to offer RWU students a firsthand look at some of Skanska’s projects.
