Works In Progress Series: "Embracing Emancipation: Irish Americans, Loyalty, and Slavery, 1845-1865"

As part of the Works In Progress Series, Ian Delahanty, a Ph.D. candidate at Boston College, will present a discussion, titled “Embracing Emancipation: Irish Americans, Loyalty, and Slavery, 1845-1865.” There will also be a dedication ceremony for the late Joshua Stein, Roger Williams University professor of history and founder of the Works in Progress Series.
