From now through Tuesday, March 5, the RWU chapter of the Foundation for International Medical Relief of Children (FIMRC) is collecting supplies to bring to FIMRC Community Health Clinics in El Salvador and the Dominican Republic. Two teams from RWU are returning for the fourth year of international spring break service through FIMRC. Donation boxes will be in five locations: MNS lounge, GHH near G01, Center for Student Development, Lower Commons, and the Rec Center, near the Hawks Nest.
Items most needed include Children’s/ Infant Tylenol and Motrin, vitamins, first aid supplies, antibiotic cream, stethoscopes and blood pressure cuffs, glucose meters and test strips. Items that are always welcome: infant clothing, toys and coloring supplies, soccer balls, jump ropes, duct tape, sharpie markers, and other basic supplies to help run the clinic and the educational outreach programs.
