Rogers Free Library, Bristol
The Women of Bristol Exhibition, organized by Roger Williams University Archivist Heidi Benedict, is the first ever exhibit-oriented collaboration between nearly all of Bristol’s historic, arts and cultural institutions. The exhibition brings together a unique collection of objects, including cooking and sailing implements, artwork, photographs, books, and other written material. The exhibit opens in the Rogers Free Library entrance gallery at 525 Hope Street on April 1 and will be available for viewing during library hours until April 30. It is free and open to the public.

Our Spring Open Houses allow visitors to completely customize an itinerary based on topics of interest to them, including sessions ranging from Athletics and Study Abroad to application tips, how to choose a college major and more! Visitors will have the opportunity to sit in on a mock class, take a student-led campus tour, experience our top-ranked dining options at lunch and find out more about the Admission and Financial Aid processes.

All members of the RWU community are invited to this weekly group aimed at helping you to better cope with the stressors of the modern world. Both eastern and western teachings will be utilized and the sessions will incorporate gentle stretching, meditation, imagery, deep breathing and relaxation training. The class will be led by Counselor Debbie Knapman from the RWU Center for Counseling and Student Development. Please feel free to join us if you are interested in learning and practicing these age-old approaches. Please wear comfortable clothing.

Please join us to celebrate how we are changing education and our community. Enjoy an evening of food, drinks and celebration at the new WaterFire Arts Center in Providence. You’ll learn about more than one hundred projects led by Roger Williams students and see the impact they are having in the community. Free and open to the public, but guests must register to attend.
