Dr. Devendra Raj Panday's lecture and discussion will focus on his work as a civil society activist working to strengthen democratic principles in the developing world. Dr. Panday is the former finance minister of Nepal and is a member of the Board of Directors of Transparency International, Berlin. He is interested in questions of development and civil society engagements to promote democracy, human rights, probity in public life and people-centered development.
